TIPS ON HOW TO RENT AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT
FOR THE SUPER BOWL or SPORTING EVENT?
Here are questions you need to ask yourself before renting equipment for the big game!
1. HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU EXPECT TO ATTEND YOUR SUPER BOWL PARTY?
Obviously, most important question we feel is this one!
With so much going on and so many places to see the game at, find out who is “actually” going to show up?
No need to go through the trouble of going “big on game day” to show off to your “invisible friends”!

Also, waisted time and money on renting equipment. So find out how many people you expect to be there, actually be there!!! This will determine what equipment you will need to rent for the game.

2. WILL IT BE AN INDOOR EVENT OR OUTDOORS?
This is key to know what screen you will need. NOTE: screens outdoors turn into sails like on a sailboat. They will tip right over with a slightest of wind. We have seen it happen, right in the middle of the game, right before a 4th and goal and swooshhhhhhh, the screen tips right over. (scream whatever you want at this point)
How to avoid this embarrassing moment, and most importantly, missing what happened!, know if it will be indoors or outdoors, and if outdoors use TV monitors or truss supports to hold the screen in a safe place, and indoors, go ahead get creative with a large screen that will NOT tip over! (enjoy your cold beer 🍺)
3. HOW LARGE IS YOUR SPACE?
This is important because of ceiling heights, does your living room have an 8 foot ceiling or a 12 or bigger?
Do you have a big backyard and different stations so while your pouring a drink you can see the game, while at the toilette = enjoying the game (it could be too much, but we threw it out there as an idea), and when your sitting by the pool you can too? Know your game space. (enjoy some chips and salsa)

4. TV SCREEN OR A PROJECTOR AND SCREEN?
Again, if it is indoors or outdoors that will dictate this on its own. A 70″ TV monitor is excellent for a large crowd and 55″ TV screens around different areas are also perfect to fill up a space with a large game crowd.
5. WILL I NEED A SOUND SYSTEM?
If your showing the game outdoors you will need to amplify your sound system, unless of course you already have outdoor sound. (obviously) The sound will be in the form of monitors like at a concert, so you can choose the location you want them placed at, depending on the set up you want of your backyard or game space.
Indoor sound, same thing, you will run an output from your current sound device and put that in a mixer and from there go to the sound monitors.
Confusing? No worries, the audio visual rental company will know what to do with all this tech stuff, just know if you need extra sound and in how many places will you need it at. (pizza pizza food time!)
6. BEST TIME TO SET UP AND BREAK DOWN?
We have seen it happen, we set up the game, everything is perfect = bar, food, decor, team banners and NO TV SIGNAL!!!!
So make sure you organize the set up with plenty of time, and check your TV signal before the game day, A MUST DO!
You can call your cable company if you feel that a TV next to your pool is the best option, or running a long cable with a signal booster will do the trick.
Breakdown / Pick up? After the game, so you can enjoy the the game celebration and sleep well knowing that all the equipment has been picked up and cleared away! (Touchdown!)
7. WHAT WILL I DO WITH MY FREE TIME?
AND WHAT TEAM AM I CHEERING FOR?
Believe us, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the game now that you “outsourced” your audio visual rentals in South Florida or wherever you live, thanks to us.
